IBM is a fantastic brand, and a pleasure to work but, by their own admittance, it can be challenging to navigate such a large and complex organisation successfully. The best IBM sales hires always have the ability to influence peers across different parts of the business to ensure a successful outcome. That’s a skill set in itself and wouldn’t suit everyone.
From a recruitment perspective, driving the process whilst keeping both software sales candidate and all the relevant HR and Business stakeholders engaged and aligned can be a challenge. Our knowledge of exactly which stakeholder and/or area of IBM’s software business (analytics, cyber-security, IoT, Commerce/CX etc.) to introduce A* Enterprise sales candidates to meant we could add a lot of value at introduction stage and throughout some lengthy hiring cycles.
