Whether you have already got dedicated pre-sales experience, or are simply a customer centric post-sales consultant, this analytics pre-IPO are open to consider the best of both. A hands-on technical role, you will need to be familiar with data concepts like SQL and ETL.
This is functional, rather than technical, pre-sales, so you will be visiting customers alongside the sales team, getting a full understanding of their requirements, and providing outstanding demonstrations. The solution is focuses at helping business users solve business problems, providing insight and visualisation to answer all their questions, so are usually sold at C-level.
A US vendor, the EMEA team is small, so you will need an entrepreneurial mindset and be self-sufficient when it comes to getting done what needs to be done. The leadership team are highly experienced and have great pedigree - they expect the best from their team but are always looking for someone coachable and willing to learn.
